Chapter 1: Engineering Drawing Using AutoCAD (Interface & Basic Setup for Beginner) Define CAD & AutoCAD applications. Identify AutoCAD workspace elements (Title Bar, Ribbon, etc.). Use basic draw commands: LINE, CIRCLE, RECTANG. Navigate with ZOOM & PAN. Set drawing UNITS. Understand GRID & SNAP. Save (.dwg) & open drawings. Chapter 2: Drawing with Precision (Beginner/Intermediate) Apply Absolute, Relative Rectangular (@dx,dy), & Relative Polar (@dist<angle>) coordinates. Use common OSNAP modes (End, Mid, Cen, Int, Per, Tan). Toggle OSNAP (F3) & set running modes. Draw ARCs, POLYGONs, ELLIPSEs, & PLINEs. Utilize Object Snap Tracking (OTRACK). Chapter 3: Modifying Objects (Intermediate) Use edit commands: ERASE, COPY, MOVE, ROTATE, MIRROR, SCALE, TRIM, EXTEND, FILLET, CHAMFER, OFFSET. Employ Window/Crossing Window selection. Use Previous selection. Understand object cycling.
